Videos from our whale watch July 2009 from Capt. John's in Plymouth, MA. This is our second whale watch with them. The last one was two years ago. We have had good luck spotting whales each time....and lots of fun. This was a beautiful day to be out on the ocean.

July Various Outings
I am trying to play catch up with publishing to the blog. This is a slide show of some of the day trips we did in July. The bulk of these are from our trip to Linville Caverns in NC. There are also some pictures from gem mining, the museum of North Carolina minerals, the catawba science center, the Duke Power energy explorium, McGuire nuclear park, lake norman, some cub scout trips, etc..
Our July 4th pictures didn't come out due to some camera issues we've been having : (
BOSTON 2009!!!
J and I spent a great 10 days visiting family and friends in the Boston, MA/Plymouth, MA/Hampton Beach, NH/North Conway, NH area while Dad took a business trip to China. J had a great time at the beaches, whale watch, alpine slide, museum of science, and fenway park!

This was made with MS Windows Movie Maker as the other software (microsoft photostory 3) is only compatible with xp and I am now running vista.
Lego Store!
A Lego store finally opened up within driving distance to us! We went on Saturday. J enrolled in a class where he got to program and use the NXT to solve a problem. He was the only student in the class. He was the first participant in the first class at the new Lego store! It was fun but very crowded. Toys-r-us and Target still have much cheaper prices for the same sets (as you would expect) We did get a container of random pieces off the back wall. Lots of fun!
